It’s that time of year again: The weather is changing, I’m trying to decide if I want to be Daria again for Halloween, and Kinkly is hosting their annual Sex Blogging Superheroes contest!

Kinkly is an absolutely amazing resource for sexual information. Their website is full of articles written by some of the top sexuality educators. They host an easy-to-browse directory for online sex toy reviews. They have compiled the most comprehensive (and filterable!) list of sexual positions that I have ever seen. And they also maintain the modern equivalent of the sex blogger yellow pages.

The Sex Blogging Superheroes contest aims to celebrate those sex positive individuals who are changing the world through their online writing. I pride myself on being included as one of their 2014 & 2015 Superheroes and I would like to ask for help from my readers this year as well.

Kinkly Top 100 Blogger Badge

Last month, I asked my lovely readers to vote for their favorite sex bloggers in Kinkly‘s annual Sex Blogging Superheroes contest. I’m proud to announce that the Top 100 list for 2015 has officially been released and EROcentric ranked in at #26 this year! (That’s a wonderful little jump from #33 in 2014.)

I honestly cannot thank everyone enough. Not only to those of you who voted for me in the contest — and to Kinkly & Sexlog for developing/compiling & sponsoring the Top 100 to begin with — but to all of my loyal readers & followers on social media, to the ever-inspiring Blog Squad that I’m lucky enough to be a part of, and to my wonderful affiliates & all of the other companies that have reached out to me over the last 2 years.

When I first started EROcentric, I never thought that I would someday feel so at home here. But the more time that passes, the more that I cherish this little corner of the internet & I’m so happy to know that what I write here is being enjoyed by others.

Of course, I also want to take a moment to congratulate my fellow bloggers on their success in this year’s rankings. In addition to the annual Top 100 list, this year Kinkly also compiled 5 new Top 10 lists for specialty categories: New Sex Blogs, Erotica Blogs, Sex Toy Review Blogs, Sex Blogs for/by Men, and Reader’s Choice. I was elated to see many of my favorite blogs on these lists (which you can also find in my sidebar under ‘Blogs I Love’) as well as to discover many new ones that I will no doubt be voting for in the coming years!

It’s October and, in addition to nonstop horror movie marathons & the one glorious day of the year when I can wear my flying squirrel kigurumi to work, that means it is time for Kinkly’s Top 100 Sex Blogging Superheroes contest!

Kinkly does some truly amazing things for sex bloggers. They host an ever-growing directory of websites so that people can easily read & learn about sex. They feature Q&As with individual bloggers as part of their Blogger of the Month series. They even recently began linking to bloggers’ reviews within their body-safe Sex Toy Directory.

And of course, there’s the annual Top 100 list. Started in 2013, the list aims to draw attention to the amazing sex positive individuals who are changing the world through their online writing. I was absolutely overjoyed to be included as one of their 2014 Superheroes and I would like to ask for help from my readers this year as well.

If you enjoy the work that I do here at EROcentric, please consider taking a brief moment to vote for my blog. Your continued support means more to me than you know.

Hello dear readers! 

As I’m sure some of you have figured out by now, I finally took the plunge & traded in my old WordPress blog for a self-hosted website! All traffic to the old site is currently being redirected here.  However, to ensure that I don’t lose any of you lovely folks in the future, please take a moment to update your bookmarks.

Don’t worry: Everything from the original blog has been transferred over. And if you were subscribed to EROcentric before, you should still receive e-mail updates just like always. (If you’re not already subscribed — or if you did somehow get removed from the list… Just enter your e-mail address where it says, ‘Subscribe to Blog via E-mail’ in the sidebar on the right. Whenever new content becomes available, you’ll be the first to know!)

Although I think that I’ve got most of the kinks worked out at this point, there may still be a few slight changes in the coming weeks. Please be patient, and feel free to use the new Contact Form (or e-mail, Twitter, etc.) if you notice that anything is askew, have suggestions for me, or simply want to chat.

It’s that time of year…Kinkly.com is compiling their second annual list of Top Sex Bloggers! If you’re not familiar with the contest, it’s a voter-based competition to rank the best bloggers writing about sex — in any form or fashion (erotica, sex toy reviews, sex education, etc). This year, Lelo has also offered a $500 cash prize to the blogger who claims the #1 spot!

Kinkly’s sex blogger directory is a fantastic resource. It offers a one-stop reference for readers to discover talented writers, while providing bloggers with an easy way to reach a wider audience. With nearly 250 blogs, it’s a truly impressive list!
