Tantus Duchess Review

One thing that I love about Tantus (and there are several) is that they are continuously working on improving their line of quality silicone toys & making them more accessible to customers. Love their designs, but low on cash? They decided to use up spare silicone to create super-cheap grab bags. Need just a bit more reach during masturbation? They developed dildos with handles. Love girthy toys, but struggle a bit with comfortable insertion? Just another wonderful use for their O2 dual density silicone.description text

Tantus DuchessMeet the Tantus Duchess: the exact same design as their older Duke dildo — but squishier! Tantus’ O2 line of dual density silicone toys are made from two layers of silicone. First, there is the firm inner core which gives the toy stability and prevents it from drooping or folding over on itself when bent. Then, there is the softer outer layer which provides a much more comfortable, forgiving surface. I’m a big fan of dual density silicone in general; I simply love the way it feels. But when a toy is pushing my limits in girth, that extra squish can make all the difference.

The Duchess is available in 2 colors: ice (blue) & candy (pink). It has a super straight shaft that measures a fairly average 1.5″ in diameter. However, at the end of that shaft is a thick, 1.8″ bulbous head that definitely enters into more girthy territory. Although the entire design is more simplified than realistic, it does include the semblance of a frenulum and a very pronounced coronal ridge. Its insertable length measures 6.5″.

Tantus DuchessThe Duchess is one of Tantus’ “vibrators,” but it’s really more of a “vibrating dildo” — a silicone cock with a hole in the base for the addition of a vibrating bullet. (Tantus will include one of their own bullet vibes, but it works well with my beloved We-Vibe Tango too.) This hole also accommodates Tantus’ suction cups, and the base (measuring approximately 2.75″ across) makes this toy both harness compatible and anal safe.

Made from 100% silicone, the Duchess is both body-safe & nonporous. It also has a unique combination of different silicone finishes. While most of the toy is matte, the head is ever-so-subtly shiny. And although both of these textures create a lot of drag when not lubricated properly, the glossiness of the head seems to lubricate easier and assist with insertion. (Unfortunately, this gloss finish also attracts loads of dust, hair, & lint — so keep that toy cleaner handy!)

I received my Duchess as a bulk review item from SheVibe, so it did not come with any packaging. However, I can say from experience that Tantus’ packaging is always super tasteful and gender-neutral.

Tantus Duchess

As you may be able to notice, the color (and therefore, the consistency) of my Duchess is slightly uneven. The inner core was not entirely centered during the molding process, leaving one side squishy & white and allowing much more of the firm, blue silicone to show through on the other. I’m happy to say that although it doesn’t look like the stock photos, this has not affected my experience with the toy in use.

experience textTantus DuchessIn the past, I have gravitated towards insertable toys with a girth of about 1.5″ — branching out to 1.75″ only when my vagina was feeling particularly mighty. But ever since Woodhull (when I was suddenly & irrevocably inspired by Lunabelle‘s beautiful collection), I’ve decided to up the ante.

My first attempt at something a little bit larger was the Blush Novelties Luxe Mio. I liked it a lot, but it didn’t really mesh with my masturbation habits. I had to slowly work up to it with other toys, carefully choose my lubricants, and still be prepared for the inevitable hint of pain. For someone who usually likes to knock out a few orgasms and then return to her latest Netflix obsession … it was all a bit too time-consuming. A real “special occasion” dildo.

Even with the same diameter, the Tantus Duchess is wildly different. All of its challenge lies in the head; a head that, while certainly bulbous, is made entirely from squishy & glossy silicone. It lubricates easily and offers up a friendly, give & take relationship with my vagina. (I don’t even have to focus on using my most cushiony lubricant or choosing my next largest dildo as a warm-up toy!) On the rare occasion when I have felt discomfort with the Duchess, it’s completely limited to my vaginal opening and it’s over before I know it. Since the size immediately drops at the shaft, there’s no lingering ache while I anxiously wait for my vagina to adjust to the size. (Seriously NOT my idea of pleasurable pain.)

Tantus Duchess - Bullet VibeThe completely straight shaft also allows me to use the Duchess as a thrusting dildo. It doesn’t hook behind my pubic bone. And despite its size, it doesn’t get stuck in place by my clenching muscles like the Luxe Mio does. (Just remember to reapply lube, because the matte silicone can — and probably will — dry out.) The large coronal ridge feels wonderful when it grazes against the front wall of my vagina and the bulbous head provides great pressure. The Duchess is actually one of the few dildos I own that I love to use for both active thrusting & stationary pressure/clenching.

As for the addition of a vibrating bullet? Meh. As with most Tantus products, I feel that the design is fantastic on its own; I actually find vibrations to be a little distracting. However, I am happy to say that despite the thick silicone, vibrations do travel down through the tip of the toy. (They are pretty muffled though, so this is yet another time when I would suggest a really powerful bullet vibe like the We-Vibe Tango.)

bottom line text

I’m surprised by how much I love the Tantus Duchess. Sure, if I’m looking for intense & direct G-spot action (which I usually am), I’ll reach for another toy. But for those times when I want to challenge myself just a little; when I want to be able to thrust with wild abandon & still get some stimulation & pressure on the front wall of my vagina; when I want to clench my muscles around a nice, thick chunk of soft silicone…the Duchess is perfect. Huge plus that I don’t have spend all night working up to it, too.

Although it is a little bit pricey ($89.99 at SheVibe), I can assure you that this is one very high quality dual-density sex toy — and one of my personal favorites for experimenting with larger sizes. You really don’t get better than Tantus.

4stars

Pros: bulbous & larger-than-average head, pronounced coronal ridge, softer dual-density silicone (with firm core) makes size more comfortable, straight shaft makes thrusting easy, body-safe/nonporous, has space for vibrating bullet or suction cup, harness compatible & anal safe

Cons: potentially uncomfortable insertion for those who are used to smaller toys

Huge thanks to my affiliate, SheVibe, for sending me this toy in exchange for an honest, unbiased review!

If you’d like to purchase the Tantus Duchess, please consider doing so here. (And if you like the shape of the Duchess, but the dual-density isn’t important to you & you’d like to save some money, the Duke is only $64.99.)

Blush Novelties Luxe Mio Review

description textWhen looking through my collection of sex toys, the Luxe Mio dildo by Blush Novelties practically screams “one of these things is not like the others.”

Blush Novelties Luxe MioIt’s a short & squat little object, vaguely phallic and seemingly designed more for its girth than anything else. Rather than being curved for precise G-spot stimulation, the entire dildo tilts upward, ending with a pronounced ridge & wide, flattened head that will press or rub against the front wall of the vagina during use. Although the girth-focused design may be intimidating for some, the tip is nicely tapered to make initial insertion easier. And with a slight decrease in diameter near the base of the toy, the shape actually reminds me more of a vaginal plug than a dildo.

The Mio measures approximately 6″ on its longest side, leaving about 5.5″ of insertable length after accounting for the circular, suction cup base. (I’ve had mixed results with the suction cup, but the base itself does make the toy both anal safe & harness compatible.) With a 1.8″ diameter at its widest point, the Luxe Mio is the most girthy toy that I own — not counting the Traz Rhino Genesis, which only got used for my review.

So why did I, someone whose body is unskilled in the ways of girth, request that SheVibe send this item in exchange for an honest, unbiased review? For one, I have my eye set on a certain breath-takingly beautiful toy that sports a somewhat similar shape and a full 2″ diameter. (In other words: vagina training.) But also, the Luxe Mio is only $26.99! And as I stated in my review for the NS Novelties Colours Pleasure dildo, I am extremely passionate about finding affordable, nonporous & body safe sex toys that I can recommend to my readers — even if the manufacturer is also still creating items of a porous & generally questionable nature.

Luxe Mio urethraBlush Novelties advertises the Luxe Mio as being “pure silicone” and the flame-test does appear to confirm that. It is, however, the firmest & most unrelenting silicone dildo that I have ever felt. Seriously. This toy offers almost zero flexibility or squish. The surface is matte & velvety soft to the touch, rarely attracting dust, hair, or lint — but causing a bit of drag unless well-lubricated. There is a divot in the tip (where the urethra would be), which is a mild cleaning annoyance that serves no discernible purpose. There is also a visible seam that runs vertically down the middle of the toy, but I have never found either of these things to be noticeable during use.

Although it’s probably not a widespread issue, my Mio does have a couple of small dents on the shaft. It confuses me because I’m not sure if it’s surface damage, an imperfection within the original mold, or (and this is me being skeptically cautious) collapsed foam under a layer of silicone. At the moment, I’m refraining from cutting it open like I did my Cal Exotics butt plug. (Since the interior of the toy never comes into contact the body, the toy should still be body-safe. I would only take issue with the “pure silicone” claim.)

Luxe Mio imperfections

The Luxe Mio is available in only one color: a dark lavender. The packaging from Blush Novelties consists of a clear plastic box that offers basic toy information and is covered in pink & purple designs. (Not to worry: SheVibe will ship this item in a discreet cardboard box, of course.)

experience text

Luxe Mio packagingObviously, I expected to be challenged by the Luxe Mio‘s girth… but vaginas are magical — and mine totally surprised me.

Of course, it helps if I start with my Tantus Vamp: only slightly smaller (1.75″ diameter), but still completely comfortable to insert. And I definitely need to smother everything in a thick, cushiony lubricant such as Good Clean Love’s Almost Naked. But if I take things slow and give my body a moment’s rest at even the slightest hint of pain (which usually happens as I triumph over the thick head), then the Luxe Mio by Blush Novelties is surprisingly enjoyable. In fact, I think that I like this toy more & more every time I use it.

At first, I tried to thrust with it — like I do with most of my dildos. I knew that the short length & large head would confine me to slower, smaller motions but I still wanted to see if it would rub against my G-spot. There was just one small problem… Before I could make any sort of honest assessment, the muscles of my vagina would tighten and completely prevent any further movement. Suddenly I am The Eternal Masturbation Girl with a dildo literally stuck inside of my vagina.

So I gave up on thrusting.

Luxe Mio sizeAnd that’s when it all came together: This toy is perfect for hands-free power-clenching.

Normally, it is of upmost importance that I hold onto whatever dildo I am using at the point of orgasm. If I don’t, my vagina muscles will forcibly push it out of my body, which can be both distracting & disappointing. But because the Mio has a girthy & more “plug-like” design, it stays firmly in place — no matter how hard my muscles contract around it.

I get an amazing sensation with the Mio that I  honestly haven’t ever been able to experience in a pleasurable way before. I feel ever-so-slightly stretched but completely filled. It’s like my vagina is safe & secure, all wrapped up around the Mio’s bulking form.

Unfortunately, as I was finishing this review, Blush Novelties was the subject of quite the uproar on Twitter. Apparently, Blush has created (yet another) dildo that looks almost identical to Tantus designs. When Metis Black publicly expressed her distaste, Blush began accusing Tantus of being a copycat first & went on the attack — both to Metis AND any blogger who dared to believe/support Tantus instead of them.

Of course, Blush deleted all of these tweets before the night was over. They also sent me a direct message stating that the employee behind this fiasco has “been removed” from the company.

If you haven’t already seen the products that have been in question, Erika Lynae was VERY quick to create a helpful little visual chart. I’ll let my lovely readers form their own opinion.

Blush vs Tantus

bottom line text

I’m disappointed in the behavior of Blush Novelties. I truly enjoyed using the Luxe Mio dildo and was excited to be able to suggest an affordable silicone toy that offered a bit more than the “average” girth. But drama like this makes me pause. It makes me examine whether or not I want to personally & financially support a company that I consider to be unethical — and quite rude.

But regardless of my opinion, the fact remains that people can only buy what they can afford. I’d much rather my readers buy a body-safe silicone toy from a company that gives  me the creeps instead of settling for a porous or toxic toy that could put their health at risk.

3star

Pros: nonporous & body-safe silicone, very affordable, offers more than “average” girth, may provide G-spot stimulation for some, suction cup (your results may vary), safe for anal play & harness compatible

Cons: could be too girthy for some individuals, urethral divot collections bodily fluids, potential for small flaws in craftsmanship, manufacturer displays questionable behavior on multiple levels (creates porous toys, possibly copies other companies’ designs, verbally aggressive towards those in the sex toy industry & bloggers)

NS Novelties Colours Pleasures 5″ Review

description text

NS Novelties Colours Pleasures 5"As a sex toy reviewer who is fervently part of the body-safety crusade, finding affordable “non-luxury” items is very important to me. So when one of my newer affiliates, Peepshow Toys, sent me a list of items to choose from — and one of those was a $24 silicone dildo — my decision was made almost instantly.

The Colours Pleasures line by NS Novelties comprises silicone dildos of 2 different lengths (5″ and 8″) in 5 color options (purple & electric blue available at Peepshow Toys; black, hot pink, and caucasian skin tone available elsewhere). They have a very traditional & realistic design, complete with a distinct coronal ridge, veins, wrinkles, and even testicles. They also sport a suction cup at the base.

The 5″ version actually measures 7″ in total (including the testicles & suction cup), but maxes out at approximately 5.25″ of insertable length. The shaft has a width that varies slightly from 1.25″ to 1.5″, while the suction cup and testicles (which provide a great handle) have a width of close to 2.5″. This larger base makes the Colours Pleasures dildos anal safe.

NS Novelties Colours Pleasures 5" (box)The toy is flexible enough to manually bend in half along the shaft, but firm enough to maintain its erect shape when suction-cupped to a wall. (This firmness doesn’t allow for much squish between your fingers.) The silicone itself has an extremely matte finish which creates a lot of drag and definitely requires lubricant — especially when combined with the texture of the veins. However, it doesn’t attract much dust, lint, or hair. And although the wrinkles do provide some crevices that hold onto body fluids, they don’t interfere with cleaning very much at all.

The item arrives in a simple cardboard box that is gender-neutral and non-sexualized, but certainly not discreet due to photos/glimpses of the toy inside. (Of course, Peepshow Toys will ship it in a plain brown cardboard box, so your neighbors won’t see the toy’s packaging.)

experience text

Now, to be completely honest, I do not trust nor particularly like NS Novelties as a company. They produce a lot of items from TPE, which is notorious for being porous and unstable — and they haveNS Novelties Colours Pleasures 5" come across as being very condescending & unprofessional when arguing that their particular supply is non-porous. (Personally, I’m not buying it.) But having cheaper silicone options that are vastly more accessible to the general population is extremely important, and for that I will commend them — especially since I did a flame test, and this product passed.

Upon receiving the Colours Pleasures 5″ dildo, the first thing I noticed was just how realistically sized it is. As we all discovered earlier this year, I am certainly no size queen; yet this toy is still shorter & less girthy than the majority of my collection. When compared with real-life penises, however, I feel that it very closely resembles the “average” size — both statistically & based on my first-hand experience.

This size may prove to be beneficial not only for individuals who require smaller toys, but also those who are sensitive to texture. Personally, it didn’t do much for me either way. The dildo was too straight and narrow to do anything for my G-spot and the texture (although rather mild in appearance) felt rough and abrasive unless I was extremely close to orgasm. At first I thought it was due to my recent issues with yeast infections & painful sex. Then I thought perhaps I needed a more cushiony gel lube or a smoother toy to start with. But no matter what I try, this toy always feels at least slightly uncomfortable whenever I attempt to thrust with it.

NS Novelties Colours Pleasures 5"The one thing that has genuinely impressed me about this toy is the suction cup. My experience with suction cup dildos is limited, because I usually masturbate lying down in my bed. However, this one is leaps & bounds above what I was accustomed to. It will stick to almost anything: glass windows & tables, hardwood floors, smooth plaster walls, porcelain-lined clawfoot tubs…possibly even your forehead if you’d like to pretend to be a dildo unicorn for a few brief seconds. (I’ve obviously been getting more enjoyment out of sticking it all over the apartment rather than actually using it.)

bottom line text

My rating is based primarily on my own personal (lackluster & somewhat uncomfortable) experience with this toy. But even though the NS Novelties Colours Pleasures 5″ dildo didn’t particularly work for me, I don’t necessarily think that it is a bad product. If you’re looking for a simple, no frills, average-sized dildo (and your body can handle at least a small amount of texture), this is an extremely affordable body-safe option. Plus, the suction cup lets you enjoy hands-free fun on all sorts of surfaces.

2star

Pros: nonporous & body-safe silicone, very affordable, strong suction cup, safe for anal use, small-to-average size (larger size available)

Cons: smallish size & straight shape may not provide enough stimulation, texture may be uncomfortable

Tantus Gary Review

DSC03922_phixr

description text

The Tantus Gary is a beautiful cock; highly realistic in both form & feel. Measuring in at 8.25″ long (approximately 7″ insertable) with a 1.5″ diameter, it’s a lengthy but otherwise fairly average-sized toy. However, what truly sets the Gary apart is the attention to detail: the veins on the shaft, the wrinkles near the head that converge at the frenulum, the distinct (but not over-emphasized) coronal ridge, even the small indentation of the meatus.www.GIFCreator.me_ourPoj

Gary is made from Tantus‘ 100% Ultra-Premium body-safe silicone. But unlike many of their stiffer products (such as the Vamp or G-Spot Vibrator), this dildo is part of their dual density O2 line. This means that it has a firm inner core, surrounded by a squishy outer layer that also completely comprises the head. The dual density material makes the entire toy much more flexible. (I’m even able to bend it end-to-end.) It also feels impressively life-like, providing just a bit of give when you wrap your hand around the shaft & squeeze. All you need to do is imagine a real, rock hard penis covered in velvety soft skin. Yum.

DSC03931_phixrTo top it off, the silicone has a matte finish with an unbelievable amount of detail. The tiny wrinkles, lines, & pores all come together to create a hint of texture that is surprisingly similar to real skin. (It also creates a ton of drag, so have your lube ready!) The Gary has a firm 2.5″ base, making it both harness compatible & anal-safe, and it’s available in 3 skin-tones: cream, cocoa (pictured here), and mocha. Indeed, if dildos that resemble disembodied penises squick you out, it’s definitely best to avoid this one — because…wow.

The Gary arrives in typical Tantus packaging of printed cardboard and clear plastic. It is both tasteful & gender neutral, albeit not very discreet or long-lasting.

experience text

Screen Shot 2015-09-28 at 84749 PM_phixrI wish I could say that the Tantus Gary pleased my vagina as much as it did my aesthetics… but unfortunately, that’s not the case.

Mostly, it’s the shape that fails to wow me — despite how beautiful I think it is. If I’m playing with an insertable toy, there’s usually one primary goal in my mind: G-spot stimulation (even if it’s just a small amount). In this regard, the Gary does absolutely nothing for me. The shaft is too straight, narrow, & flexible to apply any pressure and the coronal ridge is not pronounced enough to rub against the front wall of my vagina in that special way.

Screen Shot 2015-09-28 at 90434 PM_phixrWithout a curve, you’d think that I could at least thrust the Gary with wild abandon…especially since it’s extra long (easier to hold for those with difficulty reaching) and soft (doesn’t bash against the cervix). But unfortunately, I run into another problem. The matte, skin-like texture makes this dildo a total lube hog. As someone who barely lubricates naturally, I have to stay on top of this problem constantly; reapplying large quantities of lube and never allowing myself to become fully immersed in my own pleasure. I have a nagging reminder in the back of my mind that the Gary will dry out faster with excessive thrusting & without lubrication, the myriad of beautiful details simply feel abrasive to my vagina.

And so, without G-spot pressure or the ability to thrust, I’m left with pretty much just allowing my muscles to squeeze around the Gary. This feels surprisingly nice & realistic, but it’s not exactly “pleasure inducing.” More of an added bonus; something extra when I’m focusing on clitoral orgasms.

Screen Shot 2015-09-28 at 84320 PM_phixrA special note about cleaning: The hyper-realistic texture of this toy does make cleaning slightly more time-consuming. On the product page, Tantus even states that “boiling or dishwasher use is highly recommended to ensure the tiny surface texture is completely cleaned, no matter what kind of lube is used.” I’ve also found that an old, very soft-bristled toothbrush can be helpful for getting into all those tiny crevices.

bottom line text

Screen Shot 2015-09-28 at 85813 PM_phixrIt’s no secret that I love Tantus more than any other sex toy manufacturer. And although this toy wasn’t right for me, I certainly believe that it could be right for someone else. The quality is impeccable, the details are amazing, and the dual density O2 material is a joy to squish (both with my hands & my vagina). If you’re looking for a hyper-realistic straight dildo with average girth, extra length, and a bit of texture…the Gary is a beautiful choice.3star

Pros: body-safe silicone, beautiful & realistic detail, soft & flexible dual density design, extra length for those with difficulty reaching, firm base

Cons: straight shaft can be boring, matte silicone creates a lot of drag, texture can feel abrasive, requires more intense cleaning

Vamp Lola Review

description text

vamp1The Vamp Lola is a semi-realistically shaped dildo with a slight upward curve and a pronounced head/coronal ridge (complete with a design that hints at a urethral opening). However, that’s where the realism ends; the surface is completely smooth, without a single vein or wrinkle — and the color options are far more creative than your basic skin tones, including beautiful marbling.

Overall, the dildo measures 6.5″ in length (5.5″ of which is insertable) and has a 1.5″ diameter at its widest point. It arrives in a simple, clear plastic tube stickered with basic information about Vamp Silicone products. Unfortunately, my packaging tube had an internal height that was slightly smaller than the actual dildo inside, cramping my Lola and prevented the tube from completely closing.

Vamp’s “regular skin” is a very firm silicone (similar to many Tantus products) with almost no give when you try to squish it between your fingers, and more of a subtle ability to flex rather than bend. It has what I would call a “semi-shiny” finish that attracts a lot of hair & can create a fair amount of drag if not lubricated properly — but can also become incredibly slippery due to its lack of texture. It’s 100% body-safe (non-porous & phthalate free) with a large round base, making it both harness-compatible and safe for anal play. It also has a hole for the addition of a vibrating bullet.

Because Vamp Silicone is a small company who hand-crafts all of their products, colors will vary — and there are some slight imperfections. For example, the edge of my base is very crude & uneven, as is the bullet cavity. There’s also some rough spots where the shaft meets the base and a few small imperfections in the shaft that feel like a couple stands of hair made their way into the mold. (Bex was assured that these were only scratches.) None of these were large enough/in areas that were noticeable during use, but I was a little surprised to find so many issues with a $75-95 dildo; maybe Tantus has spoiled me.

vamp imperfections_phixrI received the Lola from my lovely affiliate company, SheVibe, who currently only offers a soft skin version in red & white marble. (For review purposes, I received the firmer “regular skin” version.) However, Vamp is known for their unique color combinations and offers an endless array of choices through other retailers and their own website.

Please be aware that several individuals have experienced very prolonged (and well-documented) issues when dealing directly with Vamp Silicone. To be safe, I’d recommend ordering through a third party retailer.

experience text

vamppackSurprisingly enough, I love the Vamp Lola! When it first arrived, I scoffed at the slight curve in the shaft. “There’s no way that’ll do anything for my G-spot,” I thought. “But hey, at least it’s pretty.” Oh… the naivety.

This dildo is basically a G-spot ninja. Combining the barely curved shaft with the pronounced coronal ridge makes it perfect for nudging against my G-spot with every stroke (while also not getting hooked behind my pubic bone)— and the firmness of the “regular skin” silicone means that its shape/angle remains consistent throughout use. Of course it’s not as intense as my beloved Jopen Comet II, but that’s okay; sometimes I don’t want G-spot stimulation that’s so powerful I want to cry (happy tears) when I’m done masturbating. Sometimes I want a more gentle build-up that I can stretch out for longer amounts of time without overwhelming my senses.

Every session that I’ve had with the Vamp Lola has turned into a marathon, usually resulting in at least 5 orgasms. Part of that is because squirting feels so attainable. I just keep trying… again and again and again.

vamp2I never thought that I’d say this, but the fact that the Lola has a simplified phallic shape (and not a large, bulbous head) is actually proving to be beneficial to me — at least in an experimental way. Because it slides easily through my vaginal opening with no discomfort, I’m able to quickly pull the toy out as I begin orgasming, bearing down with my muscles in an attempt to ejaculate. I don’t think it’s happened yet (one orgasm was a tiny bit wetter than usual), but it’s still fun to play around and try new techniques.

And speaking of the head…I finally understand how that “popping” sensation can feel pleasurable! The coronal ridge is just prominent enough that it barely stretches my vaginal opening upon removal/insertion, literally sending shivers through my body. It allows me to choose between deep, short strokes (that put more focus on the G-spot) and slow, shallow strokes (that stimulate the vaginal entrance). I seriously can’t lose.

vampbulletThe bullet cavity is a nice touch, as the silicone transfers vibrations from my We-Vibe Tango surprisingly well. However, the cavity is rather shallow (and crooked), allowing plenty of the Tango to stick out from the base of the dildo. (Easy for removal, but definitely would not work when worn as a strap-on.) Personally, I enjoy the toy equally as much with or without vibrations — but I do appreciate the option.

My only complaint is that this toy seems to want to rotate an awful lot once inserted. I’m not sure what it is about this specific dildo and its relationship with my anatomy, but I find myself having to realign the curve with my G-spot more often than I’m used to. If I don’t hold onto the base for even a moment, the dildo will turn inside of me and the curve will start facing one of my legs… or eventually make its way toward my back. It’s not uncomfortable when this happens, but it does remove a giant aspect of what I find most pleasurable about this toy (G-spot stimulation).

bottom line textI was genuinely surprised by how much I liked this toy. Do I still think that the craftsmanship could be more refined for the cost? Definitely. Am I still hesitant to suggest ordering directly from the manufacturer? Yep. But if you’re looking for gentle G-spot stimulation from a relatively average-sized dildo (and enjoy beautifully marbled aesthetics)…the Vamp Lola is a fantastic choice.

vamp34starsPros: body-safe silicone, beautiful marbling, bullet cavity for added vibration, thick & sturdy base, average size (should be comfortable for many individuals), slight curve & pronounced head gently targets G-spot, prominent coronal ridge provides slight “popping” sensation without being large enough to cause discomfort

Cons: rough craftsmanship in spots, may not be curved/firm enough to provide adequate G-spot stimulation for some individuals, wants to spin a lot during use if not held tightly, manufacturer has had multiple customer complaints
